Protect accepted orders
Review each accepted order and decide whether it can still be prepared and handed over. If not, use the platform order screen or support; do not mark it complete yourself. Pausing new orders does not automatically resolve existing ones.

Use the correct setting
Uber Eats describes using holiday or special hours to take a store offline day by day for shorter closures. For longer temporary closures, such as renovation, it directs merchants to an official request after login. Confirm the available flow for your account.
Verify the return to service
Being marked online alone may not be enough. Uber asks merchants to check menu availability hours and notes that changes can take up to ten minutes. Check opening hours, sold-out items, device alerts and whether new orders can be received.
